Captain Marvel - Get Ready For Some Epic Space Battles!
The much anticipated second trailer for Marvel's upcoming Captain Marvel dropped today, giving us a more detailed look into what we can expect. While the first trailer was more of an introduction to the character this one gives us a more in-depth look into the conflicts in the movie especially the Kree - Skrull war.
Captain Marvel is going to be the first female-led superhero movie in the MCU and is set in the 1990s before the events of Iron Man and all the other Marvel movies except Captin America - The First Avenger.
The Trailer starts off with Captain Marvel taking a Skrull who is disguised as an old woman on a bus and explaining the Kree - Skrull war to a young Nick Fury, it is clear that she believes herself to be a member of the Kree race and considers them to be the 'good guys'
We get a better look into the Kree homeworld, and the trailer confirms the fact that Captain Marvel's memories were altered by the Kree when they rescued her from a near-fatal crash.
It is revealed that Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel was rescued and turned half Kree by a Kree warrior played by Annette Bening. This is Annette Bening's first movie in the MCU and her first superhero movie.
But spending more time on Earth she slowly recovers her memories thanks to some help from Nick Fury.
We also get a look at Jude Law, whos head of the Star Force the elite team Captain Marvel is a member of, while it was rumored that he would play Mar-vell and serve as her mentor, however, this might not be the case rumor has it that he will be playing 'Yon Rogg' a Kree fanatic instead.
Having regained her memories and realizing she has been lied too and manipulated she decides to protect the Earth and get rid of both the Kree and The Skrull by unleashing her full power.
What follows is bound to be one of the most epic and exhilarating space battles to be put on screen with Captain Marvel battling both the Kree and Skrull forces in space and clearly wiping the floor with them.
The Trailer ends on a lighter note with Nick Fury playing with Captain Marvels iconic pet cat.
