Carmen Ejogo To Star In Denzel Washington Legal Drama

Actress Carmen Ejogo has been roped in as one of the female leads to star in Sony's untitled Denzel Washington thriller. Director Dan Gilroy of 'Nightcrawler' fame will be helming the movie from his script. Jennifer Fox and Escape Artists’ Todd Black are producing the legal drama.

The story of the movie revolves around a Los Angeles attorney who lands a job at a prestigious law firm after his long time partner dies. He then takes up the case that has life-altering repercussions. Ejogo will be essaying the role of a woman who works at a civil rights organisation.

The flick is being co-produced and co-financed by Sony Pictures, Cross Creek Pictures, Charles D. King’s Macro, Image Nation, Topic and Bron. Carmen was recently seen in horror flick ‘It Comes at Night’ and American science fiction horror film ‘Alien: Covenant’. The actress is all set to star in the second season of the Starz drama series, ‘The Girlfriend Experience’.
