Cate Blanchett In Talks For Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok

Speculations are doing the rounds that Cate Blanchett has been approached for a role in Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok. She has been offered to play one of the female leads in the flick, reportedly. If all goes well, the Oscar winning actress will be seen sharing screen space alongside Chris Hemsworth. 

Hemsworth will be seen reprising his role as hammer wielding superhero. Mark Ruffalo will return as Hulk and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. The film will be helmed by Taika Waiti. 

The script of the film has been drafted by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle. The studio has recently hired Stephany Folsom to revise the draft. The flick is supposed to hit the theatres in the US on November 3, 2017.
