Cell: Samuel L. Jackson roped in

Actor Samuel L. Jackson is now a part of Cell’s cast. The star has been roped in by filmmaker Tod Williams to act in Cell, a film inspired from the novel penned by Stephen King. The flick will also feature John Cusack in a key role. The other names of the cast are yet to be revealed by the makers.

The story of the film revolves around an artist who struggles to reunite with his son after a mysterious signal being broadcasted over the global cell phone network that turned human beings into mindless ferocious animals. The film will go on the floors from January next year. Samuel will be seen enacting the role of an engineer and a former soldier in the movie.
