Chadwick Boseman leads in 'Message From The King'

Chadwick Boseman, who was just last week revealed as Marvel Studios' Black Panther, will headline ‘Message From the King,’ which is set in the underbelly of present day Los Angeles. Entertainment One and The Ink Factory announced today that they will co-produce and co-finance the upcoming thriller.

"We're thrilled to be making this film with the talented team at The Ink Factory, Fabrice du Welz and Chadwick Boseman," said Xavier Marchand, eOne's President, Film Production. Boseman’s star has been on a fast rise after he logged starring roles in the Jackie Robinson biopic “42” and played music legend James Brown this year in “Get On Up.” His lead role in Marvel’s upcoming “Black Panther” will further boost his profile. ‘Message From the King’ production is expected to begin in Los Angeles in February.
