Deadline has reported that Channing Tatum and Tom Hardy might become part of the cast for Kathryn Bigelow’sTriple Frontier’. The movie has been in talks for the better part of a decade. Since the plan came into existance, over the years, several actors have been attached to the project with no final draft. What’s certain is that J.C. Chandor will in the director's chair.

The story takes place in the notorious border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. Since the area is difficult to monitor, it is infamously known as a haven for organized crime. Over the years, stars like Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp and Will Smith have been attached to the project.

Channing Tatum was last seen in ‘Hail, Caesar!’ which was helmed by Joel and Ethan Coen. For quite some time now, Channing’s ‘Gambit’ has been in planning stages as well, with a lot of changes to the cast and crew. On the other hand, Tom Hardy will be headlining an eight episode TV mini series called ‘Taboo’ which he co-created.
