Charlie Sheen Sues National Enquirer Over Assault Allegation

Harvey Weinstein was in the news in the last two months for all the wrong reasons. And now, reports of Charlie Sheen sexually assaulting a teen actor Corey Haim also surfaced the media. In response to the reports, Sheen is suing the tabloid National Enquirer which alleged that he sexually assaulted teen actor Corey Haim.

The actor even filed the papers on Friday in Los Angeles, stating the allegations as ridiculous and disgusting. The tabloid’s Nov. 8 edition includes a quote from actor Dominick Brascia, which states that Sheen had assaulted Corey Haim when he was in his mid-teens and Sheen around 20. Brascia added that the assault came when the trio was filming 1986 release Lucas.

The incident has also been stated by Corey Haim’s close friend Corey Feldman in his memoir Coreyography: A Memoir. He, however, didn’t name the abuser. Haim died in 2010.
