Chris Hemsworth Desires To Portray Thor Even After Avengers 4

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth has been playing the God of Thunder since he starred in Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 film Thor. However, he came to be popular only after his stint in the Avengers franchise, which started in 2012. However, with the fourth instalment of the movie, Hemsworth’s contract with Marvel and Disney will expire.

And now it looks like the actor has owned the character and wants to continue playing the role. The actor has recently wrapped up the shooting of the film and has expressed his desire to continue playing the role. He will also reprise the character of Thor in upcoming Avengers: Infinity War .

In an interview, the actor said, “If I had the opportunity to do it again, I think I’d love to. I also think there’s an appetite for it now, or there’s a far greater range of possibilities of where he can go now, what he can do, just because we’ve kind of broken the mold a bit”. His last outing was as Thor in Taika Watiti’s Thor: Ragnarok which was a huge success.
