Chris Hemsworth Got Tired Of Playing ‘Thor’

Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth plays the role of god of thunder 'Thor' in the recently released 'Thor: Ragnarok'. However, the actor said that he got really bored of the role as he has been playing it since 2011. The 34-year-old even asked the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige , if he could bring any changes to his character in the third part of the ‘Thor’ franchise.

In an interview with a leading U.K. publication, Hemsworth said, "Even prior to the script I called Kevin and I said, 'I got to do something different. I'm so bored of myself. I don't think I'm giving everything'. I said, 'You've got to give me the opportunity to do something different.”

The 'In the Heart of the Sea' actor said that director Taika Waititi was receptive and brought some changes to the character. "It was the most fun, I think, I've had playing this character," Chris said. 'Thor: Ragnarok' has opened with an astounding USD 110 million in overseas markets.
