Chris Pratt Was Too Fat For Moneyball

Guardians of the Galaxy actor, Chris Pratt, recently revealed that he could not play a leading role in ‘Moneyball’ because he was too fat. He shared that it was the first time someone did not cast him because he was not in shape. Chris was motivated by this incident and decided to loose his excess fat and become the Hollywood hunk he is now.

Talking about the incident, the actor shared, “That was the first time I heard someone say, 'We're not gonna cast you - you're too fat'. So I decided to drop the weight, like in wrestling. I couldn't afford a trainer, so it was all running and crash-dieting and cutting alcohol”. His workout and dedication to getting fit has surely paid off.

Chris can be seen on the big screen in ‘Passengers’ where he shares screen space with Jennifer Lawrence. The sci-fi film directed by Morten Tyldum performed averagely at the box office and has grossed $127 million worldwide in 2 weeks. The actor will next be seen in the highly anticipated film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, releasing on May 5.
