Christian Upbringing Made Brad Pitt Atheist

Brad Pitt has revealed that he is an atheist. The Hollywood star says that he was raised as a strict Baptist, which eventually made him an atheist. “My upbringing had all the Christian guilt about what you can and cannot, should and shouldn't do”, he said.

The actor further said that wife Angelina Jolie and his children had made him a better actor. “I think you can see it in my work. I was a pretty good actor before, but definitely hit and miss. I think I became a really good actor”, he said.

He added, “I'm sure a lot of that has to do with age and wisdom too. But I see an absolute shift from the day I started my family”. He described his relationship with his kids as “something bigger than yourself”.
