Christina Ricci engaged to James Heerdegen

TheBel Amiactress Christina Ricci has confirmed herengagement to dolly grip James Heerdegen. They met on the set of her short-lived television seriesPan Amand went public with their relationship only last year.

Christina called off her engagement to actor Owen Benjamin in 2009 and revealed that herideal manshould be somebody smart and funny that she loves being with. She said that, “I've always said to people you should never let anyone change who you are because the only commodity you really have is your individuality.”

The 32-year-old actress is very happy that she is not a 20-year-old anymore. She was in a hurricane and now a lotcalmer. “I take things as they happen and I've learned to be calm about things, troubleshoot problem as they arise and make the best out of things.” But in spite of the chaos of her suffering from aneating disorderin her early adolescent years, she wouldn't change a thing about her wild-girl past. “It all kind of makes up theback storywhich is my life”, said Christina.
