Though it was confirmed that Firth has been roped in for the role of a veteran spy in the big-screen adaptation, a spokesperson from the 20th Century Fox studio refused to comment on the same and referred all casting inquiries to the director's production company Marv Films, the financer of the project. But the producers also didn’t show much willingness on coming out clear on the deal.
