    Corey Stoll Approached To Play Buzz Aldrin In 'First Man'

    Actor Corey Stoll is in negotiation to star in NASA drama 'First Man'. He will essay the role of astronaut Buzz Aldrin. 'La La Land' actor Ryan Gosling has also been approached to play the role of Neil Armstrong, the first person to land on the moon.

    Oscar-winning filmmaker Damien Chazelle will be at the helm of affairs for the project, while Josh Singer has penned down the script. Well, this would be second time that Damien Chazelle will be working with Ryan Gosling. Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen have produced the film through their banner Temple Hill Entertainment banner along with Chazelle and Gosling.

    The movie is based on a biography ‘First Man: The Life Of Neil A. Armstrong’ written by James Hansen. The film will be a first person account of NASA’s mission to send a person on the moon. It will focus on Armstrong’s life during the years 1961-1969. Aldrin was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11. He was the second person to go on the moon. The flick is expected to release on October 12, 2018.
