‘Creed’ Trailer Released

Moving on from Rocky Balboa but not completely, the trailer for the new Rocky spinoff/sequel has been released. ‘Creed’ will be focused on the Rocky series character, Apollo Creed’s son, Adonis Creed. The role of Adonis will be played by Michael B. Jordan.

In Creed, Sylvester Stallone (Rocky Balboa) will be playing the role of Adonis’s mentor and trainer. In the trailer, Michael claims he never knew his father and didn’t care about him. He meets Rocky and asks him for his guidance. The cast includes Tessa Thompson as Adonis’s love interest. Phylicia Rashad plays the role of Apollo’s widow and former three-time ABA Heavyweight Champion Anthony Bellew as Adonis's main opponent.

Creed is directed by Ryan Coogler who is also known for his movie Fruitvale Station. He has also written the screenplay for the movie along with Aaron Covington. Produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Warner Bros., the movie will be released on November 25 this year.
