Gore Verbinski has casted Dane DeHaan and Mia Goth for lead roles in A Cure For Wellness, reported The Hollywood Reporter. Verbinski, who is well known for directing movies such as the Pirates of the Caribbean series and The Lone Ranger, will now be digging back into the terrifying territory with his latest project after past experience in horror films with The Ring. The script of the film has been written by Revolutionary Road screenwriter Justin Hayth.

The movie is being produced by New Regency. The horror film follows the story of a man (DeHaan) who travels to the Swiss Alps to pick up his boss from a therapeutic institute. Upon arrival, he discovers that his boss has vanished. Now forced to lengthen his stay, he realizes he’s trapped there and that the therapeutic institute has more sinister intentions than he could have imagined.

DeHaan’s only experience in the genre of horror films has been with Life After Beth (2014). While, Goth is a newcomer but she has had roles in Wallander, and Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, and is part of the cast for Everest. Gore Verbinski is also a producer for this one and is aiming to start shooting for the film this June in Europe.
