Daniel Craig: ‘I Would Rather Slash My Wrists’ Than Play Bond Again

Daniel Craig: ‘I Would Rather Slash My Wrists’ Than Play Bond Again

Daniel Craig, who is busy promoting his upcoming James Bond film Spectre has said, “I would rather slash my wrists” than play James Bond again. His remarks didn’t go well with Grey's Anatomy fame Ellen Pompeo, who has slammed Craig on Twitter, writing, “This dude needs a reality check”. Perhaps, the actor was joking and was exhausted after making the recent one that he didn’t want to jump into another film so soon.

When Time Out magazine asked in an interview if he would shoot for a new film in the franchise, Craig said, “I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. For at least a year or two, I just don't want to think about it”.

The 47-year-old actor added, “I don't know what the next step is. I'm not in discussion with anybody about anything. If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money”.
