The Harry Potter star is in talks with BBC to star in Grand Theft Auto, reported TheWrap. The movie is being produced by Jim Spencer and Mark Hedgecoe; and the production would start by the end of the month, after casting for the flick is completed. The drama film is going to be helmed by Black Mirror director Owen Harris and has been written by James Wood.

Radcliffe who has made some interesting choices of roles on the big screen after winding up the Harry Potter series will be seen in Grand Theft Auto. The movie conveys a true story of the legal fight between Sam Houser (Radcliffe), who helped create video game ‘Grand Theft Auto’, and attorney Jack Thompson, who was against the depiction of sex and violence in video games, as well as other media. Sam Houser also served as co-founder and president of Rockstar Games, which launched the game ‘GTA’ that came under attack by anti-violence activists including Thompson, who already had a reputation amongst media companies.

Although, Jack Thompson did not come out on top of this lawsuit, as Rockstar Games kept coming up with more popular video games. The GTA franchise is still one of the most sought after titles every time a new instalment is released. Radcliffe who has just finished filming for the sequel of Now You See Me is expected to start shooting for his latest project by April 20.
