If recent media reports are to be relied upon, actor Daniel Radcliffe is all set to essay the role of a drug smuggler in Beasts of Burden. The flick will start rolling late in November in Savannah, Georgia. The action thriller will be helmed by Swedish filmmaker Jesper Ganslandt.

Jesper will be making his English-language debut with the flick. He is directing the movie from a script penned down by Adam Hoelzel. As reported by Variety, the project is being bankrolled by Paul Schiff, Michael Diamond of MGMT Entertainment, and Chad Moore and Jeff Elliott of Green-Light International.

The story is based on a pilot who runs drugs across the border and must evade the Drug Enforcement Administration and drug cartels. Daniel will be seen smuggling drugs in a new indie action thriller. On a related note, the actor was most recently seen in Dan Kwan’s comedy-drama Swiss Army Man and Jon M. Chu’s heist thriller film Now You See Me 2.
