Dark Places trailer promises a hit

Charlize Theron is all set to solve the mystery of her childhood in ‘Dark Places’ trailer, which was recently released by A24. Supposedly, it is going to be the second biggest hit by Charlize Theron after Mad Max: Fury Road, which released earlier this year.The film Dark Places, is very different from what we have seen in the recent times and is all set to hit the theatres on August 7.

As the trailer reveals, the movie is about a girl who is trying to figure out, who killed her 2 sisters and mothers when she was just 8-years-old. She doubts on her brother, who has always been a “freak”. Or is it the Satanic ritual abuse behind the murders? The mystery remains unsolved.

The story of the film is based on a popular book of the same name by Gillian Flynn, the Gone Girl fame. The novel was one of the best sellers of New York Times and became popular immediately after its release. Along with Charlize Theron, the film will star Christina Hendricks, Nicholas Hoult and Chloë Grace Moretz. The mystery film is directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner.
