David Samuel Goyer to pen script for James Cameron

Screenwriter-novelist David Samuel Goyer has been pulled in to write the script for James Cameron’s Fantastic Voyage. The film will be a remake of the 1966 science fiction. It will be jointly produced by Cameron, Jon Landau and Rae Sanchini. David will be the executive producer of the project. The original was directed by Richard Fleischer.

The makers have been trying to make the new version since very long, but never really got along with it. Now, the buzz is this that they are willing to put the project on the fast track. The story of the flick will revolve around a set of scientists who gets reduced in size and are then sent in a submarine to save the life of a other scientist. It would be interesting to see what the final outcome would be as Cameron and David are two big guns of Hollywood.
