Deadpool Wins Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con was the first to witness a trailer for the upcoming Deadpool movie. It was shown at 20th Century Fox’s panel and was very well received. The fans loved it so much that they asked for it to be shown again. Ryan Reynolds who plays the ‘Merc with a mouth’ was also present.

The trailer will officially be released in three weeks as tweeted by Ryan. He also talked about the movie and the character saying, “(It’s) the most faithful adaptation of a comic book to a movie I’ve ever seen. I’ve only ever done one other proper—actually not proper—superhero movie [The Green Lantern]. For one I think it’s an absolute miracle that a studio let us make Deadpool, let alone a Rated-R Deadpool”.

The movie will be released on February 12, 2016. It is directed by Tim Miller and produced by 20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment. Deadpool will feature Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax, T.J. Miller as Weasel and Gina Carano as Angel Dust.
