Detective Pikachu Trailer Is A Treat For All Pokemon Fans!

Pokemon is a worldwide phenomenon consisting of video games, trading cards, cartoons, toys and has managed to capture the hearts and minds of generations of children and adults worldwide. so it's no surprise when Nintendo announced a live-action version of Detective Pikachu with none other than Ryan Renolds voicing Pikachu our excitement skyrocketed and now that the trailer has finally come out let's take a look at what's in store  

The Trailer starts in Ryme City a massive metropolis, filled with people and pokemon

Tim Goodman a failed pokemon trainer played by Justice Smith arrives in the city to investigate the disappearance of his father Harry Goodman a renowned detective who disappeared after a car crash.

He runs into none other than Pikachu, who has his dad's partner in the police department, Pikachu and Tim soon realize that Tim can understand Pikachu and agree to team up

Their Investigation takes them all across Ryme city and it's seedy underbelly where they run into a few fan favorite characters

Jigglypuff is seen here at a pub and up to its old tricks

They run into Charizard who seems to trapped and forced to fight our heroes

Tim is seen carrying an injured Pikachu accompanied by a group of wild Bulbasaur, a reference to the original Pokemon animated series.

They are joined on their investigation by Lucy Stevens a investigate journalist played by Kathryn Newton and her Psyduck

The trailer ends with a funny scene of Tim and Pikachu questioning Mr. Mime about the whereabouts of Tim's father
