    Disney, Marvel Studios and Star Wars Presentation at D23 Expo

    The D23 Expo was held at Anaheim from August 14 to 16. Several new announcements were made at the event by Disney, Marvel Studios, J.J. Abrams and Bob Iger. It was certainly a treat for the fans present at the event as well as the movie fans worldwide.

    Marvel Studio’s revealed some footage of the upcoming Captain America: Civil War with action sequences, glimpses of the characters and much more. The movie follows the story of Avengers: Age of Ultron and will have Captain America lock horns with Iron Man. J.J. Abrams, director of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, took the stage and brought the Star Wars team along with him.

    Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige talked about Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He said, “The first one I’m going to talk about today is Doctor Strange. The goal is to continue expanding what a comic book movie is, what the Marvel Cinematic Universe is. The comics traverse these dimensions, and film by film, we try to do that in a cinematic way”. The last announcement was made by Bob Iger who stated that both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios will be getting a Star Wars Land.
