    BAFTA award nominee Drew Barrymore will be reportedly presented with the Female Star of the Year honour at this year’s CinemaCon. The 39-year-old acclaimed actress will be seen next in romantic comedy Blended, to be released on May 23.

    CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser said in a statement, “Is there anyone who isn’t in love with Drew Barrymore, one of the most captivating and incredibly talented actresses of our time?” “Her career is simply remarkable,” Mitch added further. In Blended Barrymore will be collaborating with Adam Sandler for the third time. Drew and Adam will be seen as single parents in the film who go through a terrible blind date and then end up holidaying in the same African safari resort. Apart from acting Drew has stepped into direction too in 2009 with Whip It and now she is also the executive producer of the reality series Knife Fight. CinemaCon is an annual conference hosted by the National Association of Theatre Owners and it will take place from March 24 to March 27 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
