Duncan Jones Give Hints About 'Rogue Trooper' film

Director Duncan Jones is up to something interesting these days. The director teased his fans with a video that hints on the adaptation of the comic book saga 'Rogue Trooper' for the big screen. 'Rogue Trooper' is a sci-fi comic that first appeared in the British anthology comic 2000 AD in 1981 and concerned a genetically-engineered super soldier with blue skin and a mohawk.

Taking to Twitter, the director posted a video in which he ponders what the subject of his next film should be, in a rhyming-poem format. "One for them or one for me? Studio or wee indie? Shall I make a comic book movie, a Marvel film, perhaps DC? Image, or Dark Horse maybe?" he said in a voiceover, as he sat with his back turned to the camera watching a couple of monitors. After some more pondering, he concluded, "Yes, one from the Megaverse, now let me see. Who, oh, who, should it be?" He then took off his hat to reveal a blue mohawk, similar to that worn by Rogue in the comic book series. If that's not enough of a clue...."

The director is behind films good films like 'Moon', 'Source Code', 'Warcraft' and 'Mute'. Other than this, Originally created by Gerry Finley-Day and Alan Moore collaborator Dave Gibbons, the comic series has become a favourite amongst many fans. And that prompted Rebellion to give Redux another go for consoles and PC, in which it’s gotten some fairly good sales.
