    Dwayne Johnson To Bankroll ‘Jumanji’ Remake

    A week back it was reported, that director Jake Kasdan is planning to rope in Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart for the remake of one of Robin Williams’s classic film ‘Jumanji’. The San Andreas star confirmed his involvement in the film recently. But it is not known whether he will star in the film or not.

    Reportedly, the Hercules actor will be bankrolling the venture. He confirmed the news on social media and said, "It's official. We'll produce and deliver to a whole new generation a title that I love and is one of my all-time favourites: There's games you play for fun... Then there's games that change your life. 'Jumanji' ".

    Dwayne added that his team is currently making final changes to an already good script. He further shared that the shoot for the film will start this fall. He will soon be meeting Matt Tolmach and director Jake Kasdan. The remake of the Joe Johnston remake is slated for a July 28, 2017 release.
