    ‘Eddie the Eagle’ books April 2016 release date



    The 20th Century Fox has picked up ‘Eddie the Eagle’ and announced that the film is going to release on April 29, 2016. The movie stars Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton. Dexter Fletcher will direct, with Sean Macaulay writing the screenplay. ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ director Matthew Vaughn is producing the movie.

    Eddie the Eagle follows the story of Britain's first Olympic ski jumper Michael Edwards, who will be played by ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ star Taron Egerton. Hugh Jackman will play Edwards' coach, who helped the somewhat inept athlete place last in two events at the 1988 Winter Olympics. Shooting is currently underway in the Alps. Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot co-star in the film, which follows a suburban couple who become embroiled in an international espionage plot when they discover that their seemingly perfect new neighbors are government spies. Jackman stars in the upcoming movie musical ‘The Greatest Showman on Earth,’ based on the life of PT Barnum and set for release on Christmas Day 2016.
