    Eddie Murphy Will Be Honoured With Hollywood Career Achievement Award

    The 20th annual Hollywood Film Awards will be held on November 6. The event will honour actor comedian Eddie Murphy with the Hollywood Career Achievement Award, celebrating his spectacular career. Eddie made his debut in Hollywood with the film ’48 Hrs’ back in 1982.

    According to Variety, Allen Shapiro, CEO of Dick Clark Productions stated that Eddie’s career spanning over 35 years with his acting, directing, writing and production has been “spectacular”. He added that the industry is looking forward to honour the great personality with the award. Over the years, Eddie has acted in around 40 movies.

    He will be joining the likes of Robert De Niro, Harrison Ford, Michael Keaton, Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman, who have been previously honoured with the award. The 55-year-old actor was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for his films ‘Beverly Hills Cop’, ‘Trading Places’, ‘The Nutty Professor’ and ’48 Hrs’. His last big screen appearance was in ‘Mr. Church’ which came out last month.
