    It seems that theTerminator 2: Judgment Daystar Edward Furlong has found out his new home in prison as it has been an integral part in his daily life. After getting jailed last month at Van Nuys, California, the actor has now been sentenced to six months imprisonment for violating his probation from a 2010 case.

    Furlong’s attorney Brian Michaels clarified, "Despite the best efforts of my office, and with thecooperation of the City Attorney and the Court in this case, Mr. Furlong had the opportunity to avoid Jail in a deal my office worked out which would of resolved not just this case but two other criminal cases in Beverly Hills, by checking himself into a drug rehabilitation program, a very unusual disposition in a case that alleged violence.”

    He added more in remorse, "Sadly, Mr. Furlong rejected all proposals to get into drug rehabilitation, and the Court, ultimately decided that it was forced to sentence to him a hefty amount of jail time. We are hopeful that Mr. Furlong uses this experience, unpleasant as it may be, to revisit the issue of Rehab when he is released."

    According to the jail records Furlong may be released in late May, even though Superior Court Judge Dennis Mulcahy has directed officials in opposition. Furlong was facing a three years' probation since November 2010 for violating a restraining order which was placed by his then-wife,Rachael Kneeland.The 35-year-old actor, after getting famed with his roles inTerminator 2: Judgment Dayas John Connor andAmerican History Xas Daniel Vinyard, suddenly experienced a downfall in his career due to multiple arrests and court cases.
