Elastigirl Will Take The Lead In Incredibles Sequel

The trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2004 animated flick ‘Incredibles’ was released about 3 weeks ago and since then, it has garnered more than 65 million views on YouTube. ‘Incredibles’, directed by Brad Bird, told the story of a superhero family with three kids. Ever since the release of the original, fans have been waiting for a sequel. It took 14 years, but it’s finally here.

Brad shared some details about the plot of the film, without revealing too much, and said, “Incredibles 2 picks up, literally, where the first film left off, with Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl battling The Underminer, while Violet and Dash are stuck with babysitting Jack-Jack”. Elastigirl will be jumping into action this time around while Mr. Incredible is trying to control their baby Jack-Jack and his new powers.

The character of Elastigirl has been voiced by Holly Hunter who will be returning for the sequel as well, along with Craig T. Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson and Sarah Vowell. Huck Milner joins the cast as the voice of Dash. ‘Incredibles 2’ will hit the screens on June 15 next year.
