Eleanor Tomlinson Credits Jennifer Lawrence For Opening More Doors For Actresses

Eleanor Tomlinson has praised Jennifer Lawrence for diversifying roles that an actress can play. The star said that Lawrence has inspired Hollywood to create variety of leading roles for a woman. She thinks that now there are much unique and new roles for an actress than just playing the love interest of the lead.

The television actress told a popular magazine that the filmmakers have now moved away from the stereotypical woman roles and gave credit to the Oscar winning actress. She said, "Jennifer has really opened up a whole category of films for women. There are now superhero movies fronted by women and I think directors generally are moving away from that stereotypical woman's role that is just about being flirted with by a man before falling into his arms".

Tomlinson also added that she ruled out the nude scenes in television series ‘Poldark’ because she feels that there are things people just don't need to see. She further added that this is the reason she is not on any social media platform. She does not want people to have an insight into her life.
