    Emily Blunt Opens Up About Childhood Stutter

    In an interview with InStyle magazine, actress Emily Blunt shared that she was teased and bullied as a child because of her stutter. She developed the speech impediment when she was 10. Emily shared that overcoming her stutter helped her become the kind of adult she is today.

    The 33-year-old stated that she got teased a lot as a kid and she still hates unkindness in people and bullies. Talking about her problem, she shared, “Names are always tricky because you can't substitute a different word and there's so much pressure attached to it”. She added that even nowadays when she is put on the spot or is tired, she struggles to get the words out.

    On the work front, the actress can be seen on the big screen in the recently released ‘The Girl on the Train’. Directed by Tate Taylor, the movie is based on the novel by Paula Hawkins. The cinamtic adaptation stars Haley Bennett, Rebecca Ferguson, Justin Theroux and Luke Evans, along with others.
