Emily Blunt’s ‘The Girl on the Train’ Releases In India Today

Emily Blunt’s ‘The Girl on the Train’ released last week on October 7 in the U.S., U.K. and many other countries as well. The film witnessed a pretty good opening at the box office and also raved decent reviews from the critics. Today, the film releases in India and the audiences here have huge expectations from it.

It is based on the novel which ranked No.1 on The New York Times Fiction Best Sellers of 2015 with the same name. Written by Paula Hawkins, the novel held the top spot for 13 consecutive weeks. Reviews of the Tate Taylor directorial suggest that Emily Blunt has played the character of Rachel Watson without a single flaw.

The Sicario actress recently shared that she was completely infatuated by her role. She said, "I was completely sucked into it and thrilled by the idea that the protagonist is a blackout drunk. That's very unusual — to have a woman who's just so messed up at the forefront of the film". Surely, the mystery thriller movie will blow the mind of the Indian audiences.
