Eva Longoria invited to speak at Democratic National Convention

To garner support for President Barack Obama for the November elections, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria will speak at the Democratic National Convention next month at Charlotte, North Carolina. The star, who has been a leading celebrity force in Obama's bid for the White House since his first campaign for the 2008 elections, is not leaving any stone unturned this time as well. She is trying hard to win the support of Latin Americans and women for Obama. Longoria was made a co-chair for the Obama For America Movement earlier this year and has been invited to deliver a speech to voice her continued support for the politician.
