The production will resume from April 1 in Atlanta and it will continue at a stretch for six to eight weeks. Apparently, the character played by Walker, Brian O’Conner, will retire in the film and not get killed. The entire script had to be rewritten after Walker’s demise in November. After Walker passed away, the production company Universal Studios Inc., announced, it is "our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise." Walker’s last movie Brick Mansions, which he completed before his death, will also open on April 25.
