Filmmaker Gore Verbinski In Talks To Helm Channing Tatum starrer ‘Gambit’

Hollywood star Channing Tatum is all set to play the character of ‘Gambit’ in an X-men spinoff movie with the same title. Also, it is being said that the director of the Pirates of the Caribbean, Gore Verbinski has been roped in to helm the upcoming movie.

Channing will portray the role of Remy LeBeau, who has the ability to manipulate kinetic energy. His character will be seen playing cards at poker tables. Tatum revealed his upcoming movie after appearing at Fox’s Comic-Con panel alongside the X-Men cast.

Channing will also bankroll the movie along with Simon Kinberg and Reid Carolin. There are three more movies which are set to release back to back in 2018. Starting with ‘New Mutants’, which will release on April 13, ‘Deadpool 2’ releasing on June 1 and ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ on November 2.
