Finn Jones Will Be Marvel’s Iron Fist

EW has confirmed that Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones will play the role of Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Iron Fist will be the fourth Netflix original series. The actor plays the role of Ser Loras Tyrell in the hit HBO series.

Iron Fist is one of the master martial artists from the immortal city of K’un-Lun. Almost like Batman, Danny uses his family wealth to help the less fortunate. The character was created by Roy Thomas, Gil Kane, and Bill Everett. The Netflix series will have the hero coming back to New York City after being gone for a long time.

Scott Buck will be the showrunner and executive producer for Marvel’s Iron Fist. He has previously worked on shows like Dexter, Rome and Six Feet Under. Iron Fist is among the four shows that are part of the contract between Marvel Television and Netflix, the other three being Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
