First look of Kerry’s ‘Confirmation’ revealed

The first look of an upcoming HBO film ‘Confirmation’ is released starring Kerry Washington. The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star shared a picture of herself on Instagram in which she is standing behind a bank of microphones in Anita Hill look. The upcoming flick is based on the 1991 Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill scandal in which Kerry will be seen portraying Anita.

Kerry wrote, "Dear @HBO, Thank you for the profound opportunity of getting to inhabit Anita Hill and help tell this story! Yours Truly, K-Dub (aka super excited Exec Producer) #Confirmation”. Anita Hill said, "A generation of people who don't even know that it happened are now going to work and experiencing this”.

She also added, "They see the signs now that say sexual harassment is prohibited, but they don't know how we got there”. The upcoming flick ‘Confirmation’ also features Jennifer Hudson, Cobie Smulders, Erika Christensen, Eric Stonestreet, Grace Gummer, Greg Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Dylan Baker and Alison Wright. The flick is directed by Rick Famuyiwa.
