    India-origin Hollywood actress Freida Pinto, actor Pierce Brosnan and American actress-singer Connie Britton will be felicitated at the 18th edition of the Maui Film Festival. The event will take place at Wailea Resort in Maui from June 21-25. They will be joining Karen Gillan among the other honourees.

    Brosnan, who has earlier been honoured at the festival, will receive the Pathfinder Award for his 'eclectic choices and charismatic performances'. The two-time Golden Globe Award nominee, producer, environmentalist, philanthropist and artist will be conferred with the award on June 23. He earlier received the Maverick Award in 2008 for his active involvement in protecting the Earth, making him the only person to be presented with the award twice.

    Freida, who rose to fame with 'Slumdog Millionaire', will be felicitated with the Shining Star Award on June 22. The award is given to a person who 'dares to dream big and delivers charismatic performances'. Britton, who has been four times for Emmy, will be conferred with the Navigator Award for creating a path distinction in the entertainment industry. She will receive the award during the opening ceremony of the festival before screening of her film 'Beatriz at Dinner'.
