Gal Gadot To Be Awarded With The Rising Star Award!

The Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot is the star of the movie ‘Wonder Woman’. The superbabe-in-the-woods stole the hearts of everyone with her innocence. Now it’s time to praise her for her wonderful work in the year's most successful superhero movie.

According to the sources, it has been revealed that the Fast and Furious 6 actress will receive the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival's 2018 Awards Gala. The sources further noted that while praising the role of Gadot in the film, festival chairman Harold Matzner said, “Gal Gadot's 'Wonder Woman' showed us a strong, capable, poised, curious and compassionate character, and her performance has been universally praised, resonating with audiences everywhere”.  He also added that the theme of the film is especially apt for today where we talk about empowering everyone irrespective of gender and age.

Directed by Patty Jenkins , the film should not only be praised for the highest-grossing film helmed by a woman but also for the largest opening for a female-led comic-based film.
