Game Of Thrones 6: ‘This Season Almost Killed Us’, Says Emilia Clarke

Popular for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO series ‘Game Of Thrones’, Emilia Clarke recently confessed that sixth season of the fantasy drama series will be more thrilling than ever. Speaking to E! Online, the mother of dragons said, “Legitimately, this season almost killed us. It is epic. It is huge. It’s insane”.

Maisie Williams, known for her role as Arya Stark in the series had gone blind for the character. While speaking to Vulture, the actress had also said that using blind contact lenses was tremendously tough for her. “They’re very painful, they’re like huge and they’re very thick. Pretending to be blind is much easier when you actually can’t see anything. So I did actually love them. For close-ups and stuff it was great, but for wide shots I was like, ‘Can we take them out? Is that okay?”, she had said.

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the series, had told Entertainment Weekly that her character is “really coming into her own. She really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good”. Meanwhile, the excited audiences are waiting for the sixth season to air on April 24.
