    Game of Thrones starlet Natalie Dormer to play Cressida in The Hunger Games sequels

    While the whole world is breathlessly waiting for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, slated to hit the cinemas in November, a key character in the last two films of the franchise has got a new name. Natalie Dormer from Game of Thrones, will join the Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2 team as Cressida.

    The official announcement has been made by Lionsgate via Twitter. In the third and final book of Suzanne Collins' bestselling YA series, the two-part The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Cressida is a Capitol resident who has decided to join the revolution led by Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence). The Catching Fire helmer, Francis Lawrence, will be directing both Mockingjay parts with screenplay byDanny Strong. The Mockingjay films will reunite Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson. While The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is slated to release on November 21, 2014, the second part will follow it on November 20, 2015.
