Gary Shore’s Dracula to unveil in summer 2014

Universal Pictures has made an announcement thatits upcomingfilmDracula,a film starringLuke Evans will hit theatres on Aug. 8, 2014. Luke Evans, who is best known for his role inImmortals,The Three MusketeersandFast and Furious 6,will play a lead role in the flick.

Gary Shore will make his directorial debut withDraculaand Michael Du Luca will produce the venture. The project is scripted by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The film projectsEvans as a young prince, who wants to save his family from a sultan but in doing so, he becomes the first vampire. Not much information is yet revealed about the film.

The other film to hit the screens at the same time isGuardians, a superhero film by Marvel/Disney.
