    Ginevra Elkann Talks About Her Directorial Debut ‘Magari’

    Italian movie producer Ginevra Elkann is known to have bankrolled movies such as Arianna, White Shadow and Cloro. Elkann is currently at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival with her ‘Panaroma movie’ entry Land. Ginevra will be making her directorial debut with the upcoming movie ‘Magari’.



    According to a story published on variety.com, ‘Magari’, which means ‘I wish’ in English, will be based in Paris and Rome. Regarding the movie, Ginevra said, “About kids of divorced parents who live in Paris and come visit their father in Rome. Every child who has divorced parents, which is a lot of children nowadays, feel disconnected”.



    She further added, “The difficulty in adapting to the life of their parents…How you deal with that? And how your parents deal with that?”. ‘Magari’ will be shot in Rome, Paris and Sabaudia. The movie will be bankrolled by the Italian production company Wildside.
