Late Hollywood actress Vivien Leigh’s personal belongings will be put up for auction at Sotheby's London. The actress was popular for her role of Scarlett O’Hara in 'Gone with the Wind' which released in 1939. The collection which was passed on to her through her family will include paintings, jewellery, couture, books, furniture, and other items celebrating all aspects of the her life.

The collection will also include the late actress’ personal copy of Gone With the Wind which was given to her by author Margaret Mitchell. Gone with the Wind film script will also be put up for bidding. All her collections will be auctioned by Sotheby on Sept. 26 in London.

"We hope people take as much pleasure from this collection as our grandparents, parents and families have done,” said Vivien’s family. Nearly 250 lots will be sold. "This is our chance to discover the real, and unexpected, Vivien Leigh. We're all guilty of confusing our favourite actresses with the heroines they portray, of blurring Vivien's identity with that of Scarlett O'Hara... Her private collection does not disappoint," said Harry Dalmeny, The Chairman of Sotheby's UK.
