Gosling Spent Three Months Becoming A Piano Expert

Ryan Gosling, who essayed the role of an LA-based jazz instrumentalist Sebastian in 'La La Land’ has revealed that he had put in a lot of effort for his role in the film. He has revealed that he had spent around three months for becoming a master in piano. The Notebook’s fame has expressed that piano was one of the instruments which he always desired to learn.

While talking about his passion for learning the instrument, the 36-year-old actor said, "The piano was something that I always wished I had time to learn. In what other job is it a part of your job to just sit in front of a piano for three months and play? It was really one of the most fulfilling pre-production periods I've ever had."

'La La Land’ was a musical comedy-drama. The director of the film, Damien Chazelle said, "Ryan was very game to take on what was an insane challenge. We were not going to chop it up, we were going to film long takes to prove that it was him, in fact, playing." However, 'La La Land’ is expected to be nominated for the upcoming Oscar awards.
