    It has been a never-ending ride for Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity at the international box-offices and its successful journey has helped it cross a huge milestone in the history of cinema. Gravity has created a new benchmark by surpassingthe$500 million mark overseas over the weekend.

    Sandra Bullock-George Clooney starrer 3D space epic Gravity has amassed$240.6 million at the domestic front and $274.3 million internationally which take the global total to $515 million through Sunday. Warner Bros.’ Gravity is yet to hit the Chinese and Japanese markets, and speculations are running high that Gravity will also be able to cross the $600 million mark soon. Though the blockbuster Thor: The Dark World is giving it a tough competition, Gravity managed to rake in $18.5 million internationally over the weekend from 62 markets. At the domestic box-office Gravity is positioned at No. 6 in its seventh weekend with $6.3 million collections. Gravity has been honoured with the No. 7 title of the year worldwide. Among the international markets France tops the list with $37.5 million, followed by Korea ($26.5 million), U.K. ($23.2 million), Russia ($20.9 million) and Australia ($18.1 million). The movie has hit the U.K. theatres since only two weeks now.
