Green Lantern Absent From Justice League Part 1, 2?

It has been known for quite some time now that Warner Bros. wants to bring the entire DC Universe in theatres. They also recently released the first concept art of Justice League which showed off Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. But wait, there's something missing. Green Lantern!

Producer Charles Roven spoke with EW and shed some light on the character. He revealed, “Every beat of the movie is not yet worked out. So there’s the possibility that he may or may not be in Justice League 2. For now, we felt that we were introducing enough characters that the best possible place we could put Green Lantern is some introduction in Justice League 2, or barring that, a movie after”.

According to the schedule, March 25 will mark the beginning of the DC superhero movies with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Suicide Squad will hit the screens on August 5 with Wonder Woman releasing on June 23 next year. Justice League: Part One is scheduled for a November 17,2017 release, followed by The Flash and Aquaman on March 23, 2018 and July 27, 2018.
