Hannibal Had More To Tell: Mads Mikkelsen

Mads Mikkelsen, known for his role as Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the hit series Hannibal, feels that the show had more stories to tell. Hannibal was discontinued after the third season which was quite surprising for the team. Talking about the cancelation, the actor stated, “We are all angry. We were p—–. It’s madness”.

“And season 4 was actually the one we thought we’d definitely get. Seasons 2 and 3 were on the verge. We didn’t know whether Hannibal would be renewed. But by the time we got to season 4 we thought it was a definite. We were very surprised at the decision”, Mads added.

The 50-year-old actor feels that “there were more stories. We thought we ended the show in a great way, but we had more to tell”. Mads also added that the redemption of the show depends on show runner Bryan Fuller. Hannibal ran successfully for three seasons with the last episode airing on August 29 last year.
